Yes, just a cursory look at the video posted above will convince you that your iThing is about to get its best turn-based strategy game ever. None other than the award winning remake of the award winning XCOM itself!

Cerebral Bundle: Pay What You Want for 9 Great & Clever Indie Games

Bundle In A Box returns for its fourth installment: the Cerebral Bundle. A fine assortment of 9 delightful, properly smart and truly indie offerings everyone can enjoy for the most reasonable price of “pay-what-you-want”.

Paying anything above $1.99 will get you:

  • deep, retro-esque and utterly elegant RPG Phantasmaburbia (Windows/Desura)
  • artful, being-stood-up-sim Dinner Date (Windows/Steam)
  • undead infested puzzler Vampires! (Windows/Mac)
  • illustrated interactive fiction exclusive debut Necrotic Drift Deluxe (Windows /Mac/Linux)
  • beautiful puzzler exclusive debut Dédale De Luxe (Windows/Mac/Linux/Desura)

Beating the average price will allow gamers to enjoy four more cerebral games:

  • sci-fi puzzle exploration adventure J.U.L.I.A. (Windows)
  • hilarious boring-job-sim I Get This Call Every Day (Windows/Mac/Desura)
  • Jane Jensen powered point-and-clicker Cognition, Episode 1: The Hangman (Windows/Mac/Desura)
  • just released dystopian adventure Reversion: The Meeting (Windows/Desura)

As an added bonus, all who purchase the bundle will get access to exclusive content for Droidcape: Basilica; Kyttaro Games’ own upcoming game for iOS and Android. A stop-motion. sci-fi, arcade-puzzler I've worked on quite a bit.

Also: extras! Indie Dev Grant! Charity!

Pan-Galactic iPads get Slamjet Stadium

Having an iPad and having missed downloading your copy of Slamjet Stadium is a pretty silly thing to do.  No, really. Playing an outrageous match of futuristic, cartoony football against a friend on one iPad is, you see, simply brilliant. And possibly violent too. Not that the single player campaign isn't an excellent one mind you, but such offerings really shine on multiplayer. So, uhm, buy it, will you?

Death Ray Manta

Originally released as a Bundle In A Box exclusive for PC and Mac, psychedelically explosive arena shooter Death Ray Manta has finally been ported to iOS, happily supporting both iPhones and iPads everywhere. Glorious visuals, weird humour and wisely designed short levels aside, DRM is one of the very best arena shmups on the App Store and one of the few to support iCade.
